Absolutely loved the culinary scene nearby, especially the fresh Mediterranean eats at Le Bistrot de Meme – just a stone's throw away! The location's prime for exploring La Rochelle's charming old city. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, making check-in a breeze.

This sounds ridiculous, but the plug sockets were tricky to reach, facing the floor! No coffee facilities in the room might irk some, and I barely heard the fire alarm one night – quirky!

The location couldn't be better. it's just a hop away from the central market and the local eateries, making it super convenient for grabbing a bite. I appreciated the hefty pillows that were a total game changer for a good night's sleep after a long day exploring the area.

On the downside, the rooms were pretty cramped. I felt like I had to navigate around my bag just to settle in. the noise wasn't ideal, especially in the early mornings with market deliveries coming in as early as 5 AM—a little space to breathe would have made a big difference. There were limited electric outlets, with one tricky-to-find socket by the toilet—definitely a hassle when needing to charge things overnight. Plus, parking was a head-scratcher, given the restrictions on non-residents in the area. if you’ve got a car, plan ahead.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking was manageable, especially since we found a nearby car park that was budget-friendly.

The only downside was that our room was a bit tight, and we struggled to find the plug sockets for charging our devices, which were awkwardly placed behind the bed.
